New to this?

Masters swimming is just a swim team for adults

Coached practices, lanes sorted by speed, open to all abilities. You don't need to have swum competitively, or recently, or ever on a team.

The Louisvillains are one of the workout groups within Rocky Mountain Regional Masters, the US Masters Swimming club for Colorado and Wyoming.

There is a lane for you

We use three or four lanes, sorted by speed. Whether you're a triathlete trying to get your swim together for an upcoming race or a former college swimmer, there's a place for you.

Paces range from about 1:20 to 2:20 per 100 m.

Your first practice: the coach will watch you swim and give you technique feedback. Bring a suit, goggles and a cap, and join the fun.

Summer league — entirely optional

Be twelve again, briefly

Some of us race in Grown Up Swimming, a Denver summer league. It's 25s and 50s, fun relays, and team-colored Jell-O. In 2026 we won the whole thing, mostly by showing up in numbers and having more fun than anyone else.

Even more fun coming summer 2027 →

Why the Louisvillains?

We were the Wyld Wombats once. Becoming the Louisvillains was a way to claim the town and the badassery at the same time — and somewhere in there came the caps, the sweatshirts, the parkas, and a team spirit that got slightly out of hand.
